IG World magazine & The Institute for IG, the leading training organization in Information Governance (IG), will offer a new, complimentary series of educational IG webinars. The planned 2019 sessions of IG Academy™ will run from January to March, beginning Tuesday, January 22, at 2PM Eastern Time.
The initial webinars will begin with introductory topics, to give beginners a baseline understanding of IG. The first session will be IG fundamentals, and then it will progress through a series of IG program topics including Best Practices, 5 Keys to IG Program Success, Building the Business Case, Establishing Business Objectives & Metrics, and more.
Attendees can earn continuing education credits for CRM, IGP, and CIP certifications, as well as CLE credits for attorneys.
Robert Smallwood, MBA, CIP, IGP, leading IG trainer and author of seven books on IG topics, will be the primary presenter, joined at times by subject matter experts (SME) in key IG areas, including file analysis, GDPR, digital preservation, E-Discovery, Information Privacy, Information Security, Records Management, Change Management, and ECM.
