Webinar: Construction of an Archival Vault via ARMA Detroit on September 15 @ 11:45 am Eastern

How do you capture, retain, and preserve 165 years of history? By building a high-tech archival vault of course!

Join guest presenter Junia Yasenov, Provincial Archivist for the Capuchin Province of St. Joseph, as she discusses specifics of the construction of the Capuchin Archival Vault in Detroit. She’ll cover design details such as fire suppression, HVAC, power outage mitigation, insulation, security, shelving, and more. The 1064 square foot facility houses 1428 linear feet of archival materials that includes historical cartography, artifacts, saint relics, paintings, photographs, newspaper clippings, as well as obsolete format audio visual materials (e.g., acetate film, polyester audio film, VHS, vinyl records, cassette tapes, etc.).
